- Melvin Cartwright was born in East Texas, graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School In Houston, served in the military for 3 years, Married Jackqueline Cartwright his wife of 46 years, Father of 4 children, Grandfather of 2 grandsons and 3 adopted daughters. In 1989 Apostle Cartwright established Faith Mission Church , and after expanding over the years, his Ministry relocated to 1306 East 10th St. West Point Ga, and became Eagles Nest Cathedral Inc. In 1999. In 2002 Dr. Cartwright graduated from Liberty University with a Degree in Advance Biblical Studies, In 2003 Dr. Cartwright attended the College of African American Pentecostal Bishops in Ohio, In 2005 He received his Certificate from the Pentecostal Bishops of Congress. In 2006 He received his Doctorate of Divinity as well as a Certificate of Biblical studies from Jacksonville Biblical College. In 2009 He received his Certificate in Bereavement and Grief Counseling In the state of Wisconsin. In May 2001 He was Consecrated to Bishop and In May 2010 He was Consecrated to Apostle. These are only a few Highlighted Accomplishments in the Life of Our Pastor, His other Accomplishments can be found Inside The Ministry Itself!! He is a world traveler, establishing churches in India, He was honored by the NAACP for his outstanding work in the community. Apostle has traveled around the world preaching and teaching the word of God, but most importantly he loves the Lord!!
